Post-conference field trip

The three conference days (27–28–29 June) will be followed by an optional 2-days post-conference field trip on 30 June – 1 July.

During the trip, we are going to visit Dunaújváros (the former Sztálinváros, i.e. Stalintown), strolling along the socialist realist architecture trail, the nuclear power plant in Paks (followed by a lunch), the splendid city of Pécs (with an overnight stay + optional sightseeing), as well as the former mining town of Komló, focusing on both the socialist era and post-socialist challenges of the town.

The fee of the 2-days post-conference field trip is as follows:   

Regular              +90 EUR (= 220 EUR altogether)
PhD-student      +70 EUR (= 160 EUR altogether)
