Our guest scholar: Andrzej Jakubowski (Lublin)

Andrzej Jakubowski, assistant professor of geography at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS), Institute of Social and Economic Geography and Spatial Management in Lublin, Poland, made a three-week guest research stay at our department with a scholarship funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and Tempus Foundation in Hungary. Dr Jakubowski delivered a talk about his research on 9 June 2023 under the title „Converging borderlands? Economic disparities and cross-border integration in the EU”.
