Title: Excursions: From teaching practices to research agendas and conceptualizations

The presenter, Friederike Trotier, is a scholar in critical development studies with a background in development sociology and a geographical focus on Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia and its neighborhood. She will spend the entire week with us as an Erasmus visiting scholar. In her talk, she will discuss the role of excursions (field trips) in teaching and research practices paying special attention to postcolonial and decolonial perspectives.
