Historical transformation of rural areas: Tuscany

Filippo Randelli, associate professor at the University of Florence, will give a lecture at the Eötvös József Collegium Mendöl Tibor Geography-Earth Sciences-Environmental Sciences Workshop on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 6 p.m., entitled Historical transformation of rural areas: the case of Tuscany.

The lecturer is an expert in rural geography, economic geography, and sustainability issues. His lecture will focus on the transformation of rural areas in Tuscany in the 20th century: historical processes provide a better understanding of the current social and economic structure, the settlement network, and the built environment.
