Guest scholars from Kyiv and Tbilisi

Between May 5 and 14, 2025, several Georgian and Ukrainian guest scholars visited our department from the Department of Human Geography at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the Faculty of Geography at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK) within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility scheme. The members of the delegation gave many lectures and seminars on the urban, political, historical, and economic geography of Ukraine, Georgia, and the Caucasus Region, as well as the climatology of Ukraine. We are glad for our guests' illuminating presentations and the inspiring discussions in our department and the Department of Meteorology.
